North Tower of Paine
Silencio Valley, Torres del Paine
Duration: 4 Days• Difficulty: 5.10
An ascent of The North Tower of Paine, the most accessible of the three striking Torres del Paine.
After hiking up the Ascensio and Silencio Valleys to high camp at the mythical ‘Whillans Box’, this climb takes scrambly terrain on golden granite up the south ridge and west face of this incredible monolith.
This four day round trip is the perfect entry level ascent for any aspiring alpine rock climber, looking to live the full Patagonian experience in one of the wildest places in the world.
Mount Almirante Nieto
Ascensio Valley, Torres del Paine
Duration: 2 or 3 days• Difficulty: AD 5th class 50 degree snow
Mount Almirante Nieto was the first mountain to be climbed in the Paine Massif in 1937, and its first ascent route has become an uber-classic mountaineering objective for climbers from far and wide.
This peak lies in the heart of Torres del Paine, flanked by the gorgeous Towers of Paine on one side, and the amazing Cuernos formations on the other, providing a breathtaking vantage point from which you can observe the entirety of the national park. After arriving at base camp below the Towers on day one, we will make an alpine start on the route, which is mostly snow and glacier travel, aside from one pitch of low angle rock climbing, to reach the summit.
Some guests prefer to descend to Puerto Natales after summiting, however an extra night at base camp below the Towers of Paine and the gorgeous Patagonian night sky is always an option.
Rock Climbing
Puerto Natales
Laguna Sofia, Chilean Patagonia
Duration: Half or Full Day • Difficulty: Beginner to Expert
Only twenty minutes from Puerto Natales lies the gorgeous Laguna Sofia, a hidden valley that most tourists bypass on their way to Torres del Paine. This amazing valley is home to some really high quality sport climbing, with multiple crags that offer a range of excellent routes ranging from 5.6 - 5.13. Aside from the excellent conglomerate rock that is sure to challenge all climbers, the views of the glaciated Prat mountain range and stunning lagoon below make for some of the most scenic sport climbing Patagonia has to offer.

Seba Pelletti
After moving to Patagonia at age 21, Seba fell in love with Torres del Paine and its surrounds.
Seba has called Patagonia home since 2014, pursuing adventure climbing and new routes in his back yard and all over the world. In 2026 he was awarded a coveted Piolet D’or for his ascent of ‘Shooting the Moon’ a 3100 metre new route on Ultar Sar (7,388m) in the Pakistani Karakoram. Known as the ‘Oscars of Alpinism’, this accolade commends a life dedicated to the mountains.
After over a decade of guiding in Patagonia, Canada and the central Andes, Seba looks to share those same experiences that enamoured him with Patagonia, showing his guests some of the areas greatest hidden secrets, and the true sense of adventure that can be experienced amongst these glaciers and towers.
Seba is a certified IFMGA Mountain Guide, born to Australian/Argentine parents, and his dual nationality enables him to provide seamless logistical organization and customer service in both English and Spanish.
[ TESTIMONIALS ]“Climbing Cuerno Principal was my 40th birthday gift to myself and symbolized a full circle moment for me, wrapping up a period of incredible growth and self discovery.
I am so grateful to Seba for helping me make that dream a reality. He tailored the experience to incorporate the moments of solitude and reflection I needed to fully take it all in. He was fully prepared and in control at all times and made me feel extremely safe.
On top of that he was fantastic company to share the experience with. You can feel his deep love of the mountains and adventure and I couldn’t recommend him, and Paine Mountain Guides more highly!”

[ TESTIMONIALS ]“I can’t say enough good things about Seba. Booked everything for me to make my W trek amazing. After I suffered an injury that put the brakes on our planned summit of Almirante, Seba was able to quickly pivot and get a couple days of rock climbing together for me. Can’t wait to get back down that way to get out on more adventures with Seba!”
